Respect Chico
Have you heard about the recent Respect Chico campaign that was launched by local bars, restaurants and business owners – including LRT. If you haven’t, let us break it down for you.
Respect Chico is a campaign that was created to help make a positive impact on the city of Chico by concerned business and bar owners.
As the student population and community continue to grow, it’s important to these business owners to help pave a path inspiring the people of Chico to respect themselves, respect others and to respect our town. As leaders in the community, these pro-active bar and business owners wanted to start an outreach campaign to help educate our community members. Like most of us, these bar owners have built their lives, business and families here in Chico so it’s important to them to help keep this wonderful community thriving – in a positive, motivating and meaningful way.
Respect Chico is about being proactive in educating Chico and our citizens and to hold individuals accountable for the actions that they choose to make. Respect Chico is all about helping encourage others on how to have a good time – while respecting themselves and the town of Chico.
The mission is simple: Respect Chico is a public outreach campaign started by local bar and restaurant owners. Our mission is to be part of the solution, provide education and contribute to a safe community. We encourage you to respect yourself, respect others and drink responsibly. We’re all in this together!
LRT is proud to be a part of the group that is helping educate people in how to Respect Chico. As leaders in the community it is our responsibility, as well as the responsibility of our community to do what we can to help keep this beautiful town thriving with acceptable and responsible behavior from its citizens. It was our pleasure to help out with the logo design, web development, social media and marketing strategies that were essential in launching the Respect Chico campaign.
Thank you to all of the businesses who have really stepped up to be part of the solution, provide education and contribute to a safe community including: Bella’s Sports Pub, Sierra Nevada, 5th Street Steakhouse, The Banshee, The Beach, The Crazy Horse, Duffy’s Tavern, The Oasis, Franky’s, Madison Bear Garden, Panamas Bar & Café, Rileys Bar & Grill, La Salles, University bar, Towne Lounge, Tres Hombres, Chico Chamber and Downtown Chico Association.
